When William James Prouds opened his first store on Pitt Street, Sydney, in 1903, he never could imagine that Prouds the Jewellers would grow into one of Australia’s largest and most trusted jewellery retailers.  His vision—to make quality jewellery, watches, and giftware affordable to all Australians, is still the fundamental mission today, more than 120 years later.
